Manuel Azuaga, chairman of Cecabank

The Board of Directors has appointed Manuel Azuaga as chairman of the company.

After Antonio Massanell's resignation last December, Azuaga, as vice-chairman, took over the chairman functions. Now, once the suitability procedures provided in the current regulations applicable to credit institutions have been completed, the Board has formalised his appointment as chairman.

Manuel Azuaga is member of the Board of Directors of Cecabank since 2013.

Cecabank is the wholesale bank that provides financial and technological services to other financial institutions and corporations. This year the company has received, for the second year in a row, the Best Custodian Bank award, given by the magazine Global Banking and Finance Review, for its leadership in the collective investment institution and pension fund depositary activity.
