Cecabank and the UCJC agree to collaborate in providing training sessions on digital transformation in the financial sector

Both entities have established a framework for cooperation in training, research, development and innovation in financial services and digital transformation.

Among the project objectives is that of permitting students at the UCJC, supported by their lecturers, to take part in real innovation projects created at Ck-Lab, the Cecabank innovation forum, and this way contribute their own ideas to the project.

Cecabank and the Camilo José Cela University (UCJC) have signed a collaboration agreement to carry out projects with students of the UCJC. The initiative, within the framework of Ck-Lab, the cooperation and innovation forum, includes activities such as workshops, events, and other joint training activities, such as Master Classes given by professionals from Cecabank, and the help of mentors for students' projects, as part of the UCJC Study Abroad programme. Cecabank will also be a member of the advisory board of the Degree in Business and Technology of the Camilo José Cela University.

The agreement was signed at the Cecabank headquarters in Calle Alcalá, in Madrid, in the presence of the vice rector of Innovation at the Camilo José Cela University, Francesco Sandulli, and the Corporate Director of Technology at Cecabank, Agustín Márquez.

Agustín Márquez underlined that the agreement was a "reaffirmation of Cecabank's commitment to open innovation, in which different players, in this case the academic and business world, exchange knowledge with a view to fostering the technological development of financial services and increasing customer satisfaction."

Francesco Sandulli stated that “this agreement with Cecabank is part of a unique and pioneering initiative in Spain by the Camilo José Cela University. It will allow students from the university to develop professional skills through participation in real projects proposed by companies, while for companies it provides a great opportunity for early recruitment and talent development as well as the execution of innovative projects."

The aim of Ck-Lab, the digital innovation forum designed by Cecabank, aims to promote the financial offer in the digital field, in collaboration with banks, fintechs and other agents in the new financial ecosystem.
